JBS reviews the instruction, confirms the most suitable service and prepares a quote based on the property type and scope.

Inspection and report delivered
Inspection is arranged at a convenient time. The report is delivered clearly, with the surveyor available to discuss findings.
Referral arrangement
JBS offers referring agents 5% of the net survey or valuation fee, capped at £100 per instruction — whichever is the lower amount. For example, a £1,000 instruction generates a £50 referral payment; a £3,000 instruction is still capped at £100.
Any referral arrangement should be disclosed to the client where required. The checkbox in the referral form below provides a simple way to confirm that disclosure has been made.
Referral fees are permissible under current industry guidance. It remains the agent's responsibility to disclose any financial arrangement to their client in accordance with applicable regulations and Ombudsman codes of practice.
