What the report covers
- A room-by-room inspection of the visible and accessible parts of the home
- Doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, joinery, kitchen and bathroom fittings, sealants and decorations
- Visible external areas from the ground, and the loft hatch where it is safe to look in

How it works
Book
Tell us the address, whether it is a flat or a house, and the date the developer allows access. We confirm the fee and dates in writing.
Inspection
Joe works through the home room by room and outside, photographing each snag.
Snag list
You receive the snag list to send to the developer, and can ask Joe about anything on it.
Good to know
- Snagging is not a RICS Home Survey and does not give condition ratings or a valuation. For a new home where you want a full survey, ask about a Level 2.
- Services are not tested. The list notes visible problems with fittings, and recommends a specialist where a test is needed.
All fees: see fees. Other services: all valuations and all surveys.
